About Me
Hello, my name is Kim, I took over KareBear by chance. My dogs, Enzo & Loki came here for daycare when the previous occupiers announced they were selling up, hence where I am today being the owner of Karebear Day Boarding Ltd. This is a big thank you to my husband, Wayne for supporting me along the way without him this would not have been possible.
I took over KareBear a year ago, which at the beginning was a very stressful time as lots of hard work went into making the kennels acceptable to enable me to qualify for my licence which was completed by Maidstone Borough Council License No MBCAL/061/23.
Today, I have 5 staff who love and adore the dogs. At present we have 27 kennels accommodating up to 46 dogs daily, which we love seeing them all on a day-to-day basis. We have our regular customers whose dogs come once a week, to up to 4-5 times a week. Most of them know their way in just by getting out their car waggling their tails & running straight in, which is a delight for us & their parents to see them this excited.
Trialing at Karebear's
We accommodate most breeds of dogs, big & small. The final decision is made by myself (Kim), if we allow the dog/s to our daycare/boarding.
They will have a trial morning with us so we can watch how they play with others and assess them to which group they can play in.
